Microsoft announced the new beta exam "Exam AZ-140 Configuring and Operating Azure Virtual Desktop" on Microsoft Azure. This exam is a requirement only for "Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty" certification.
Microsoft Azure's VDI PaaS solution helps you with remote applications and desktops in the cloud. The advantage of WVD is Windows 10 Multi-session, which blends the functionality of traditional windows remote desktop server with the Windows client experience. FSLogix, a User Profile software, allows you to work from home or remotely without needing all the heavy infrastructure.
If you pass this beta exam, you will receive your scores in about ten business days, and it will reflect on your dashboard with your new digital badge.
Professionals with subject matter expertise in planning, managing, and delivering virtual desktop experiences and remotely applications for any device on Azure.
The primary responsibilities for this role include deploying virtual desktop experiences & apps. Individual must deliver applications on WVD and Optimize them to run in a virtual environment. They have to work with Azure administrators and architects, along with Microsoft 365 Administrators.
Once should be experienced in Azure technologies, i.e., virtualization, networking, storage, identity, resilience, backups, and recovery. There will be the use of PowerShell and Azure CLI (Command-Line Interface) for more automation.
Most importantly, the candidate must have expert Azure administration skills.
