To earn DevNet Professional certification, you pass two exams: one that covers core software development and design for Cisco platforms, and one software developer concentration exam of your choice, so you can customize your certification to your area of focus.

To earn DevNet Professional, you pass two exams, a core exam and a software developer concentration exam of your choice.

• For Core exam, pass the below recommended training and exam:

• For Concentration exam, pass ANY ONE of the below recommended training and exam:
• 2. Implementing Automation for Cisco Enterprise Solutions (Exam 300-435 ENAUTO)
• 3. Implementing Automation for Cisco Collaboration Solutions (Exam 300-835 CLAUTO)
• 4. Implementing Automation for Cisco Data Center Solutions (Exam 300-635 DCAUTO)
• 5. Implementing Automation for Cisco Service Provider Solutions (Exam 300-535 SPAUTO)
• 6. Implementing Automation for Cisco Security Solutions (Exam 300-735 SAUTO)
• 7. Implementing DevOps Solutions and Practices Using Cisco Platforms (Exam 300-910 DEVOPS)
• 8. Developing Solutions Using Cisco IoT and Edge Platforms (Exam 300-915 DEVIOT)

DevNet Professional candidates should have three to five years of experience with software development including Python programming.

Certification Latest Updates

The DevNet Professional certification is valid for three years.

Certification holders can recertify by:

• Passing one technology core exam
• Passing any two professional concentration exams
• Passing one CCIE lab exam
• Earning 80 continuing education credits

The recertification requirements must be met prior to the certification expiration date. Individuals with expired certifications must repeat the entire certification exam process in order to regain their certification status.
