Obtaining Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification demonstrates the expertise to evaluate, map, deploy, migrate, and manage Microsoft 365 services. This role-based certification mainly improves your knowledge and understanding to perform Microsoft 365 tenant management jobs for an enterprise, counting its identities, compliance, threat management, security, and supporting technologies. It also measures your capabilities to plan Office 365 workloads and applications, execute modern device services.
The aspiring candidates must have a working knowledge of server administration, networking, and IT fundamentals like Active Directory, PowerShell, and DNS.
Note: Exam MS-100 and Exam MS-101 will retire on July 31, 2023. A replacement exam, Exam MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator, became available on May 3, 2023.
The Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification will retire on June 30, 2023. It will continue to qualify as a prerequisite option for this certification until June 30, 2024 (one year after the certification has retired).
On July 1, 2023, the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification will be renamed to Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
