The Azure Stack Hub Operator Associate certification is for Azure administrators or Azure Stack Hub operators who give cloud services to end-users and customers in their datacenter managing Azure Stack Hub.
The primary duties for this role are to plan, use, update, package, and maintain the Azure Stack Hub foundation. Along with this, hybrid cloud resources and requested services manage infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS).
Students doing this certification must have expertise in managing and performing Azure Stack Hub environments. They should also know a basic understanding of Azure, networking, virtualization, identity management, and how Azure Stack Hub allows DevOps processes and the hybrid development model.

Microsoft Recertification Update:
1. Previously, Microsoft role-based certifications were valid for two years.
2. Starting June 2021, certifications are valid for one year, but they can be renewed online for free at Microsoft Learn.
3. The renewal window begins six months before the cert expires. During this window, before the cert expires, you can take a free online assessment and get the cert extended by one additional year from the current expiration date.
4. Want the best of both worlds, old and new? Certifications earned before June 2021 will be valid for two years and eligible for the new renewal process.
