About the Certifications

Note: This certification will retire on June 30, 2023. You will no longer be able to earn this certification after this date. Certification renewal will be available until December 31, 2023.

In this certification, candidates can deploy, configure, and manage Dynamics 365 Commerce applications. If a candidate is currently working as a developer, consultant, IT, information worker, or business professional using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce to support their organization, this certification will boost their career.

It will be a plus if candidates know unified commerce business operations. They configure Dynamics 365 Commerce headquarters, manage Point of Sale (POS) in commerce, manage and configure Commerce call centers, configure products, maintain e-commerce, prices, loyalty, discounts, and affiliations.

Certification Latest Updates

Microsoft Recertification Update:

1. Previously, Microsoft role-based and specialty certifications were valid for two years.

2. Starting June 2021, certifications are valid for one year, but they can be renewed online for free at Microsoft Learn.

3. The renewal window begins six months before the cert expires. During this window, before the cert expires, you can take a free online assessment and get the cert extended by one additional year from the current expiration date.

4. Want the best of both worlds, old and new? Certifications earned before June 2021 will be valid for two years and eligible for the new renewal process.
