Offered by Microtek Learning, this training comprises three key components of Microsoft 365 enterprise administration - Microsoft 365 device management, Microsoft 365 compliance management, and Microsoft 365 security management. In Microsoft 365 security management, students will get to explore the common types of data breaches and threat vectors that enterprises face today and will learn how to implement Microsoft 365 security solutions to mitigate these security threats. Students will also be introduced to Azure Active Directory Identity Protection and Microsoft Secure Score. You will explore various security services in the Microsoft 365, such as Safe Links, Safe Attachments, Advanced Threat Protection, and Exchange Online Protection.
Once you have successfully learnt about the above-mentioned aspects, you will learn about various reports that help monitor the security hygiene of your organization. Then you will transition from learning about security services to threat intelligence, focusing on using the Advanced Threat Analytics and Security Dashboard to stay abreast with the latest security threats and protect your organization from potential security breaches. With the security components of Microsoft 365 in place, you will assess the key elements of Microsoft 365 compliance management. At this point of the course, you will get an overview of all the key components of data governance, including data loss prevention (DLP), Office 365 message encryption, Secure Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension (S/MIME), Information Rights Management, data retention and archiving. You will be focusing on data retention and archiving, particularly on Retention policies in the Security and Compliance Center, retention and archiving in Exchange, and in-place record management in SharePoint. After exploring various aspects of data governance, students will learn how to implement them, including creating policy tips, creating DLP politics to protect data, designing custom DLP policies, building DLP policies from built-in templates, and designing of ethical walls in Exchange Online. You will then learn how to manage data governance in Microsoft 365, including troubleshooting sensitive data, troubleshooting policy tips and retention policies, and managing retention in email. Students will also learn about the implementation of Windows Information Protection and Azure Information Protection.
This section of the training will be concluded by learning how to manage the investigation and search, including managing advanced eDiscovery, auditing log investigations, and searching for data in the Security and Compliance Center. The course will conclude with a thorough exam of Microsoft 365 device management. Students will plan for different aspects of device management, such as how to prepare your Windows 10 devices for co-management. You will be introduced to Mobile Application Management and Microsoft Store, and learn how to transition from Configuration Manager to Intune. Now, you will transition from the planning phase to the implementation of device management; particularly, the deployment strategy for your Windows 10. This includes learning the implementation of Mobile Device Management (MDM), Windows Analytics, and Windows Autopilot. While exploring MDM, you will also learn its deployment, management of device compliance, and enrollment of devices to MDM.
This training is based on the objectives of the course variant MS-101T00-A.
