About the Certifications

Students for this certification must have the subject matter expertise in managing and configuring Windows Server hybrid, on-premises, and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) platform workloads.

This Windows Server Hybrid Administrator position comes with responsibilities, i.e., blending Windows Server surroundings with Azure services and operating Windows Server with on-premises networks. Candidates have to maintain and manages Windows Server Iaas workloads in Azure and deploy and migrate workloads to Azure.

This job role works best with Azure Administrators, Microsoft 365 Administrators, Network Engineers, and Enterprise Architects.

Candidates will be assisting advanced and core Windows Server workloads and services using hybrid, on-premises, and cloud technologies. Candidates must know how to manage and implement hybrid and on-premises solutions, such as management, identity, networking, computing, and storage.

They should also know how to perform tasks related to migration, high availability, security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting. They use administrative technologies and tools, including PowerShell, Windows Admin Center, IaaS Virtual Machine Administration, and Azure Arc. They also operate with Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Automation Update Management, Azure Migrate, Azure Security Center, and Azure Monitor.
