The Cortex XDR: Security Operations and Integration course is a three-day, instructor-led training that provides in-depth knowledge of Cortex XDR, Palo Alto Networks’ extended detection and response platform. This course focuses on enabling security teams to configure, integrate, and optimize Cortex XDR to protect modern enterprise environments.

Participants will gain hands-on experience across security operations, system configuration, and platform optimization, while exploring the core and advanced features of Cortex XDR. The course covers XDR architecture and workflows, along with advanced strategies for security integrations, workflow development, indicator management, and dashboard optimization to enhance operational visibility and response efficiency.

This course is designed for cybersecurity professionals working in SOC, CERT, CSIRT, and security engineering roles, particularly those responsible for configuring Cortex XDR, managing integrations, handling data ingestion, and maintaining security policies.

Course Update Notice:
This course replaces the former EDU-260 and is intended for practitioners focused on platform configuration and integration, rather than incident investigation. The EDU-260 and EDU-262 courses will remain available until a replacement for EDU-262 is announced (date TBA).
