This configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services Training will guide you to manage Windows Server services with hybrid, on-premises, and cloud technologies. With the help of this course, you will be able to understand how to leverage the hybrid abilities of Azure, how to emigrate physical and virtual server workloads to Azure IaaS, and how to ensure Azure VMs are running Windows Server.

This AZ-801T00 training will also teach you how to complete tasks related to troubleshooting, high availability, and disaster recovery. This training highlights administrative technologies and tools such as PowerShell, Windows Admin Center, Azure Automation Update Management, Azure Arc, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Azure Migrate.

Prerequisites for this training


  • Fundamental knowledge of security-related technologies (encryption, firewalls, SIEM/SOAR multifactor authentication)
  • Basic understanding of on-premises resiliency Windows Server-based storage and compute technologies.
  • Some experience with managing and implementing IaaS services in Microsoft Azure
  • Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory
  • Expertise in Windows PowerShell

  • Working experience or knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and virtualization server concepts
  • Expertise with Window Server operating system and workloads on-premises scenarios such as DNS, DFS, AD DS, Storage and file services, and Hyper-V
  • Expertise with Windows Server management tools
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft storage, compute, virtualization, and networking technologies.
  • Understanding of networking technologies such as name resolution, IP address, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
