Course Overview

Most organizations adopt Claude the same way. A few curious people try it, prompts get passed around, and within months some teams are getting real work done while others are still pasting text into a chat box. The difference is rarely the tool. It is skill, and skill can be taught.

Claude Enterprise Mastery is a 40-hour program that teaches it in a deliberate order: use Claude, build with Claude, build agents, design agentic systems. Each stage assumes the one before it.

The first twelve hours need no code. You learn how Claude works and how to choose between its models, then how to write prompts and manage context so the output is reliable instead of lucky, then how to set up Projects and knowledge sources for repeatable workflows in HR, Finance, and project management. The next nine hours move to the Claude API and Claude Code, where you build applications and use Claude as a development partner in a real codebase. Twelve hours then go to tool design, the Model Context Protocol, and the Agent SDK. The last seven cover what most agent projects skip: choosing between single-agent and multi-agent patterns, recovering from failure, evaluating results, and keeping security, cost, latency, and observability under control once the system is live.

Certification is an outcome here, not the point. The program is built around the work people do with Claude, and it prepares them for three Anthropic certification pathways at the Foundations level: Associate, Developer, and Architect.

  • Design, evaluate, and optimize production-ready agentic systems, and make architecture decisions based on business and technical trade-offs

Who Should Attend This Course?

The first three modules suit every role. Modules 4 to 8 are for technical staff.

  • Business professionals, team leads, and knowledge workers who want dependable results from Claude in their daily work
  • Software developers and engineers who build applications, tools, and agents on Claude
  • Solution architects and technical leads who decide how Claude-powered systems are designed, secured, and run
  • Organizations preparing employees for the Claude Associate, Developer, and Architect certification pathways

Prerequisites

None for Modules 1 to 3.

For Modules 4 to 8, we recommend:

  • Working programming experience, ideally in Python or TypeScript
  • Comfort with REST APIs and the command line
  • Basic familiarity with Git

You do not need earlier experience with the Claude API, Claude Code, or agents. The program starts each of those from the beginning.

Certification Pathways

The program prepares employees for three Claude certifications from Anthropic. The outline above shows which modules support which pathway.

CertificationExam codeQuestionsWho it suits
Claude Certified Associate – FoundationsCCAO-F60Business professionals who use Claude in their daily work
Claude Certified Developer – FoundationsCCDV-F53Engineers who build and ship Claude-powered applications and agents
Claude Certified Architect – FoundationsCCAR-F60People who design production systems with Claude Code, MCP, and agents

The exam facts below come from Anthropic's version 1.0 exam guides, published in July 2026:

Two points to plan around. Exams are booked separately from the training, through the Anthropic Partner Academy, and Anthropic opens certification to organizations in the Claude Partner Network. Exam fees are set by Anthropic and were listed at $99 for Associate and $125 for Developer and Architect Foundations in July 2026. Check the Partner Academy for current terms before you budget.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Not in the cram-session sense. The program builds the skills the three Foundations exams test, module by module, and the alignment is shown in the outline. It does not replace reading the free exam guides Anthropic publishes for each certification, and you should still work through their sample questions. Registration and payment happen through Anthropic's Partner Academy, separate from this training.

It depends on the job. The Associate exam is written for business users and is explicitly not aimed at developers. The Developer exam suits engineers who build on the API and Agent SDK. The Architect exam suits people who design production systems with Claude Code, MCP, and agents, and it is scenario based, so the main theme is trade-offs. Because Modules 1 to 3 are open to everyone, a mixed team can start together and split by role afterwards.

Not for Modules 1 to 3, which cover Claude fundamentals, prompting, and Projects. From Module 4 onward you will write code, so working experience in a language like Python or TypeScript is recommended.

A model call answers one request. A workflow chains steps in an order you define in advance. An agent decides its own next step, chooses tools, looks at the result, and keeps going until it reaches a stopping condition. Module 7 opens with this distinction because choosing the wrong one is the most common early mistake in agent projects: many problems only need a workflow.

Yes. Module 5 covers Claude Code as a development partner: understanding a repository, generating and refactoring code, debugging, testing, documentation, Git workflows, configuration, and custom commands. Claude Code also comes back in the agentic coding topics and in the wider architecture discussion.

Claude AI Essentials is a one-day introduction to Projects, Artifacts, and Skills for general users. Claude Code for Developers is a two-day course focused on building applications with Claude Code. Claude Enterprise Mastery is the full path: 40 hours that add the Claude API, tool design and MCP, the Agent SDK, and production architecture.

No. The program is aimed at the Foundations level. The Professional exam is a separate credential for experienced architects who own end-to-end delivery of production AI systems.

Yes. The program is designed for enterprise teams, and private delivery lets the HR, Finance, and project management scenarios in Module 3 and the architecture discussion in Module 8 be worked through against your own systems and constraints.
